I’ve been blogging posts about different aspects of business development over four months now. Managed to only miss one week over the Christmas/New Year period. I thought it it would be worthwhile to give a bit of an index to five of the more popular blog posts so far.
The Blog Posts
Sales Ecosystem Made Simple a quick overview of the Sales Ecosystem and why it is important for business development professionals to understand.
What Makes a Strong Business Developer? explores the key attributes needed to be a successful business developer.
How to Avoid the Technobabble Trap helps avoid confusing customers with technical jargon, acronyms and other technobabble.
Are you Sitting on a Gold Mine? uses the Ansoff Matrix to help find those customers to contact initially.
Introducing Triple A presents the Triple A business development framework. A useful tool that we will be discovering in more depth as the blog progresses.
What’s Next?
The reaction to the blog has been great so far which spurs me on to provide even more content. Over the coming month we’ll be exploring more elements of the Triple A Framework. This will include commercial placement of products, prioritising effort, market mapping, planning and more.
Of course there will be more news on my book publishing endeavours as well.
Are there any topics that you would like to see covered? Let me know in the comments, via LinkedIn or on the contact page. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
